Role: Sr. UX Designer

On a project with Xbox, I was tasked with understanding the prospective Xbox user to create design solutions bring more awareness to the value of Xbox’s bundles. The client wanted to put emphasis on the bundle experience to combine additional games and accessories with a console purchase. Users would be able to select an Xbox curated bundle or prompted to create their own bundle.

The main challenge to address was the multiple ways a user can end up with an Xbox bundle because bundles consist of a console with a game, accessory, customized skin or a limited edition feature. Through multiple wireframe iterations, I had to find the right balance to highlight the Xbox's featured bundles while still offering a classic e-commerce grid with filtered options for users who want to browse or change their selection.

My focus was on the filter options to provide users a customizable expereince showing Xbox curated premade bundles, or an easy way to allow users to create their own bundle. I wanted to ensure that each option would always have a result rather than letting a user see a “No results” view. I came up with multiple options featuring different filter solutions to the client.
